Image server for the woodland game

The easy way first: turn on peer-to-peer sharing and the app fetches this game’s images from other players, verified against its catalog. An image server is for a collection of your own.

Settings → the game’s section → Image server, or the general Image server with the game’s images under <server>/evdd/. The game’s section also chooses whether to show the board image (Show board), the cards on the table and the previews.

Every image is <server>/<name>.png, all in one folder:

Images Names Count
Cards <card>.png: the card’s name in lowercase with underscores (carnival.png, air_balloon.png) 80
Card back back.png 1
Events event-<event>.png for the bag’s events, and event-faire.png, event-journey.png 32
River river-<kind>.png (river-twig_any.png) 20
Seasons season-spring.png, season-summer.png, season-autumn.png, season-winter.png 4

Cards are 500 × 720 in the catalogued set; any size works, as does WebP or JPEG whatever the extension.

The app’s repository has scripts/evdd/split_images.py, which cuts the card sheets of a tabletop-simulator mod of the game into one image per card and tile with these names. The rights to the sheets are the mod’s and the publisher’s; the script only cuts.

146 images: every card, event, river tile, season, the board and the pieces.
