Image server for the tactical card game
The easy way first: turn on peer-to-peer sharing and the app fetches this game’s images from other players, verified against its catalog. An image server is for a collection of your own.
The setting
Section titled “The setting”Settings → the game’s section → Card image server, or the general Image server with
the game’s images under <server>/scr/.
The game asks for one image per printing of a card, named by the printing’s slug:
<set>-<card>-<product>-<finish>.png006-abaddon_succubus-b-s.png001-abundance-b-f.png<set>:001,002,004,005,006,999.<card>: the card’s name in lowercase with underscores.<product>:ai,b,bt,d,dk,k,op,pd,scg,tc,wk.<finish>:s(standard),f(foil),rf(rainbow foil).
A card shows its standard-finish printing from the highest set unless a deck pins a printing, which is then asked for as it is. Two more images are the card backs:
back-spellbook.png portrait, for spellsback-atlas.png landscape, for sitesYour own server: one flat folder
Section titled “Your own server: one flat folder”Any server other than the two below is expected to hold every image in one folder, named by the key:
https://example.org/cards/scr/006-abaddon_succubus-b-s.pnghttps://example.org/cards/scr/back-atlas.pngA mirror of the publisher’s CDN folder, with the two backs added, serves as it is. The images on the CDN are 744 × 1039 PNGs; any size works, and WebP and JPEG do too, whatever the extension in the key.
The two known hosts
Section titled “The two known hosts”Two hosts are known by their layout, so naming either as the server works without mirroring:
| Server | Layout |
|---|---|
https://d27a44hjr9gen3.cloudfront.net/ |
cards/<key>, PNG |
https://images.sorcerycard.io/ |
images/<folder>/<folder>-<card>-<product>-<finish>.webp, where the set’s folder is 001 → alp, 002 → bet, 004 → art, 005 → dra, 006 → got, 999 → pro |
Neither has the card backs, which the app then draws itself.
The catalog
Section titled “The catalog”The game’s catalog lists every printing’s image as it is on the publisher’s CDN (3,088 entries); that is what sharing can supply. The backs are not catalogued.
