Your account
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”The online pane offers Sign in with Patreon and Sign in with Google. The app opens the provider’s page in your browser; sign in there, and the browser hands you back to the app. Broccolideck never sees your password, and keeps only what the provider says you are: an id, and a name to start you with. You can link both providers to one account and sign in with either.
The first time, the app shows the terms of use (which include the privacy policy) and asks you to confirm that you are at least 13, or older where the law where you live asks it. When the terms change, the app asks again before you play online.
Your name
Section titled “Your name”Your displayed name starts as the given name your provider knows, at most 24 characters, and can be changed from the online pane (Change name). It is what other players and spectators see at the table and in the results.
Your tier comes from your Patreon membership when a Patreon account is linked, and follows it: pledge or change the pledge on Patreon and the app sees it within moments. Every other account, and a Patreon account with no pledge, is a Visitor. The tiers are on the support page.
Sessions
Section titled “Sessions”Signing in on a device keeps you signed in there until you sign out; a session lasts sixty days without a sign-in. Sign out everywhere in the online pane ends every device’s session at once, useful if one was lost. Linking or unlinking a provider asks you to sign in again first.
Deleting your account
Section titled “Deleting your account”Delete account in the online pane, after a fresh sign-in, deletes your account at once: your sign-ins, ratings and sessions go, your games in progress are forfeited, and your seats in recorded games name nobody. The record that you accepted the terms is kept, without anything that names you (Privacy policy).
